Information

Choujikuu Korodasutan Ryokouki is the second album released by Togawa Jun and first under the name Apogee & Perigee. Apogee & Perigee are two robots that appeared in a series of Japanese TV commercials for Mild Nikka whisky and the album tells their story in Togawa’s way. The album has been described as very theatrical like her previous work, but it contains more of an electronic feel. The 2011 reissue reached #292 on Oricon charts, and charted for 1 week.

Man knows only his home planet, Earth. Will he ever reach the others?

In last 21st century, the whole earth has become a hyper-Administrated society, controlled by the black tower.

The citizens have been differentiated into six classes, and areresigned to be only the impersonal cogs in such a society which builds up a fortune through people’s labour. Only a few people have doubts about it.

A genius scientist and innercosmologist, professor persec has been engaged in certain research for the purpose to restoraing a real human society. But as he gets arranged as an identified space criminal, he has to run away to space.

He continues his study in a minor planet called “HOLON” situated between mars and jupiter. His research achieves success, and he created two robots called “APOGEE” and “PERIGEE” to which he entrusts a mission to reform such a dehumanized society. However, when be is about to complete the robots. A launcher of missile at the space police is operated, aimed at this secret laboratory…
