私が出演したナイロン100℃の公演『すべての犬は天国へ行く』のサントラです。女の人しかいなくなった街が舞台の西部劇で、酒場の歌姫兼娼婦という設定だったので、出演するにあたって「ローハイド」を歌わせてくれと、私のほうから条件を出しました。西部劇といったら、「ローハイド」と思っていたので。ちなみに、♪ローレン ローレン ローレン♪と歌っていますが、よく考えたら、♪ローリング ローリング ローリング♪なんですよね。でも私が子供の頃の記憶でそう歌っているから、コーラスの人たちも迷わず♪ローレン ローレン ローレン♪と歌っています。掛け合いは、ナイロン100℃さんの女優さんです。西部のあの男くさい感じを日本人のしかも女性がやっているところが面白いと思います。
